Service Description

A field trip to Kwanderosa Farm offers a fun and educational experience, immersing students in farm life. Our farm field trip typically starts at 10am (although there is some flexibility) and lasts about 1 ½ hours, giving kids plenty of time to meet and feed our friendly goats, ponies, chickens, ducks, Guinea fowl, bunnies, and KuneKune pigs (think Pua from the movie Moana). They'll get to see where our chickens lay their eggs and experience the excitement of sitting on a tractor and hearing its engine roar (it's quite loud!). By the end, students gain a deeper appreciation for farm animals and their care, and the responsibilities of running a farm. After the tour you are welcome to eat lunch or have a snack at our picnic tables. Students can play on our large play structure. Students are $15 each, and chaperones can join in the fun for free!
